1. Seller

2. Scope
These terms govern sales of wine made on this site between Clos U Suale and any adult placing an order (the "customer"). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.
3. Alcohol and legal age
The sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited (French Public Health Code, art. L3342-1). By ordering, the customer certifies that they are of legal drinking age in their country of residence. ID may be requested on delivery. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health; please drink responsibly.
4. Products
Wines are offered subject to availability. Vintages shown are those currently at the cellar; if the vintage changes between order and dispatch, the customer is informed and may cancel free of charge. Photos and descriptions are indicative.
5. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included (French VAT and excise duties), excluding delivery. Delivery costs are calculated in the cart before checkout. Clos U Suale may change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order.
6. Orders and payment
An order is confirmed once payment has been accepted, made online by card through a secure platform (Shopify Payments). A confirmation e-mail is sent to the customer. Clos U Suale may refuse an order in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or an unserved delivery address.
7. Delivery
Orders are shipped from Patrimonio (Corsica) to mainland France and Corsica, in reinforced cases designed for bottles. Indicative lead time is 3 to 7 working days after dispatch. Details and rates are in the shipping policy. For delivery outside France, contact us for a quote.
8. Receipt and breakage
On receipt, the customer checks the parcel in the carrier's presence. Any broken bottle or damaged parcel must be reported within 48 hours to jb.ferrandi@gmail.com with photos of the parcel and bottles. The bottles concerned are replaced or refunded.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving a reason. Bottles must be returned intact, unopened, in their original packaging, at the customer's expense. The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the return. See the refund policy.
10. Cellar pick-up
The customer may choose to collect their order free of charge at the cellar, 45 Strada di a Chjesa, 20253 Patrimonio, during opening hours, on presentation of the order confirmation.
11. Personal data
Data collected is used only to process orders and, with the customer's consent, to send our newsletter. See the privacy policy.
12. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge or the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Failing an amicable settlement, the courts of Bastia have jurisdiction.
